Accountable for team delivery, you will serve as leader to improve productivity and predictability, team technical skills, and nurture our culture of collaboration and communication. In addition, you will be actively participating and be accountable of all the architectural and technical solutions to meet Product needs.Your experience has given you the perspective to help other engineers prioritise their tasks, shape their career decisions, and face tricky challenges. We are also expecting you to keep up to date with engineering best practices, making you better equipped when helping your employees decide what competencies they want to develop.We need our engineers to be versatile, capable of mentoring and enthusiastic about taking on new challenges as we continue to push technology forward.THE CHALLENGEResponsible for software delivery for a team.Working collaboratively with business analysts, other leaders, and engineers to create the best product for our customers.Analyse the scope of Product Team initiatives and coordinate with other squads to estimate, map dependencies, plan sprints, resolve blockers and ensure timely release to market.Working on the design and architecture of our software and hands-on on critical tasks.Ensure the team efficiency and high-quality work: enforce tech excellence, tech debt management and regular adjustment of processes and timelines in line with continuous improvement philosophy.Collaborate in release activities which will include clear and detailed plans or checklists for testing and roll-out.Coach engineers to grow in a professional (improving skills, problem-solving abilities) and personal way (by supporting and giving them frequent feedback).Think critically about the long-term career development of team members.Conduct regular check-ins and 1-1.Learning and sharing experiences on new technologies and trends and how you can leverage them in current and future products.Collaborating and sharing knowledge with others across the group.Exhibiting passion and advocate to drive change.Understanding how our business works and how products add value to your customers.YOUR PROFILEStrong technical leadership experience; an appreciation for engineering best practices and quality over quantity of work.Ideally proficiency level in .NET and React.Extensive professional experience in software development, working on robust, complex systems that serve a high volume of users.A knack for effective and clear communication in all circumstances.A passion for bringing great products into our world through collaboration and ingenuity.OUR OFFERExciting job field with the opportunity for personal development.Continuous learning program with technical internals sessions for continuous improvement.A challenging but rewarding and fun environment.Access to our online e-learning platform.Hybrid working model, combining home office and work from the office.ADDITIONAL INFORMATIONPart of Sportradar MSS Engineering (team of ~200).Which is part of Sportradar.com (team of more than 3000).Additional InformationSportradar is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
