Looking for a highly skilled and experienced Node.js Team Lead to join our dynamic team. As the Node.js Team Lead, you will be responsible for leading a team of developers in designing, implementing, and maintaining high-performance, scalable, and secure Node.js applications. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative solutions that meet our business objectives. Responsibilities: Lead a team of Node.js developers in designing, implementing, and maintaining backend services and applicationsCollaborate with product managers, designers, and other stakeholders to define project requirements and deliverablesArchitect scalable and reliable Node.js applications that meet performance and security standardsMentor and coach team members, providing technical guidance and support to foster their growth and developmentConduct code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practicesCollaborate with DevOps teams to automate deployment processes and ensure continuous integration and deliveryIdentify and address technical debt and performance bottlenecks in existing systemsStay updated on emerging technologies and industry trends, and assess their relevance to our projects and initiativesDrive a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement within the team Mandatory Requirements: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field7-10 years of professional experience in software development, with a focus on Node.jsProven experience leading a team of developers in the design and implementation of complex software systemsStrong proficiency in Node.js, with a deep understanding of its core principles and ecosystemExperience with modern JavaScript frameworks/libraries such as Express.js, NestJS, or similarSolid understanding of database technologies such as SQL and NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB, PostgreSQL)Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud PlatformProficiency in containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) and orchestration tools Preferred Qualifications: Experience with microservices architecture and related patternsFamiliarity with frontend technologies such as React.js or AngularKnowledge of security best practices and common vulnerabilities in web applicationsExperience with Agile/Scrum methodologiesContributions to open-source projects or active participation in the developer community Qualities: Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholdersStrong problem-solving and analytical skills, with a keen attention to detailAbility to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities simultaneously Benefits: Competitive salaryHealth, dental, and vision insuranceRetirement savings planFlexible work hoursProfessional development opportunitiesCollaborative and innovative work environment Location: Onsite, Remote, Hybrid
