METT Hotel & Resorts in Marbella - Estepona is seeking an experienced and energetic Pool Manager to oversee the daily operations of our pool area. The Pool Manager will be responsible for ensuring a safe, clean, and enjoyable environment for our guests, managing pool staff, and maintaining the highest standards of hospitality and service. JOB FUNCTIONS: -Daily Operations: Oversee all day-to-day operations of the pool area, ensuring it is clean, well-maintained, and fully operational. -Guest Experience: Provide exceptional service to guests, addressing any concerns or issues promptly to ensure a positive experience. -Staff Management: Recruit, train, schedule, and supervise pool staff, including lifeguards, pool attendants, and support staff, ensuring they adhere to all safety and service protocols. -Safety Compliance: Ensure all safety regulations and protocols are followed, including regular safety checks, water quality testing, and emergency procedures. -Inventory and Supplies: Manage inventory of pool supplies, including towels, chemicals, and equipment, ensuring timely ordering and proper storage. -Maintenance Coordination: Coordinate with the maintenance team to ensure the pool and surrounding areas are in excellent condition, addressing any repairs or maintenance needs promptly. -Event Coordination: Plan and oversee poolside events and activities, collaborating with the events and marketing teams to promote and execute events successfully. -Budget Management: Assist in developing and managing the pool area budget, ensuring cost-effective operations without compromising on quality and safety. -Reporting: Maintain accurate records of pool usage, incidents, and maintenance activities, providing regular reports to the management team. -Customer Feedback: Gather and analyze guest feedback to identify areas for improvement and implement changes to enhance the pool experience. Requisitos : -Proven experience as a Pool Manager or in a similar role in a luxury resort or hospitality setting. -Strong knowledge of pool safety regulations and maintenance procedures. -Excellent leadership and team management skills. -Exceptional customer service and communication abilities. -Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays. -Certified Pool Operator (CPO) certification or equivalent is preferred. -Lifeguard certification is a plus. -Fluency in English; additional language skills are a plus. -Strong organizational and problem-solving skills. -Basic knowledge of budgeting and financial management. -Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). -Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and
