You'll work alongside IT, Security, and Compliance teams to develop policies, mitigate risks, and drive best practices, helping us maintain the highest standards of data protection.If you're passionate about data governance, compliance, and security, this is your opportunity to make an impact in a growing and dynamic healthcare technology environment.ResponsibilitiesWhat You'll DoDevelop, maintain, and enhance data governance policies, standards, and procedures in alignment with regulatory and industry best practices.Support data classification and lifecycle management to ensure proper handling, storage, and access.Lead a quarterly record retention program to ensure compliance with client contracts and regulations.Conduct training and awareness programs to promote a culture of data security and governance.Partner with Security, IT, and Compliance teams to identify and mitigate risks related to data governance.Monitor and ensure compliance with HIPAA, NIST 800, HITRUST, PCI-DSS, GDPR, and other data security standards.Represent data governance in cross-functional meetings and contribute to policy reviews and compliance assessments.Provide subject matter expertise for third-party audits, including HITRUST, PCI-DSS, SOC2, URAC, and NCQA.Manage annual PCI-DSS self-attestation reviews and serve as a liaison for third-party assessments.QualificationsWhat You BringBachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Data Management, Cybersecurity, or a related field.3 to 5 years of experience in data governance, data management, information security, or a related field.Information Security Assessor (ISA) certification is preferred (or the ability to obtain it within 3 months of hire).Strong knowledge of data governance frameworks, security policies, and compliance standards (HIPAA, NIST 800, HITRUST, PCI-DSS, GDPR, etc.
