Convenience Store Manager – Full-Time With Benefits

Country Visions Cooperative is looking to hire a full-time Store Manager for our De Pere convenience/country store.
Our store offers a unique and exciting blend of convenience store, bird feed, pet food, dog grooming, lawn and garden supplies, and specialty feeds (horse, livestock, rabbit, goats, chickens, etc).

This person will supervise and manage all functions of the store in cooperation with the Country Store Lead.

Job Responsibilities

Supervise and manage all in-store functionsRecruit, Interview and train all new hiresMaintain a positive work environment by promoting teamwork and collaborationAssist and instruct team members with daily store operationsHelp ensure customer satisfaction and retainmentMaintain store cleanliness and sanitation standards at all timesDevelop retail sales growth, largely through outstanding customer serviceOrder and price store merchandise following proper procedures as directed by the Country Store LeadComplete accurate and timely completion of all assigned accounting reports and formsEnsure all precautionary procedures with respect to the protection of team members and company assets are adhered toSet written goals annually with the Division ManagerAssist in implementing marketing and merchandising promotionsDevelop sales-generating displaysOther duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Division Manager

HOURS

Mainly day shift hours with variable shifts and some flexibility – will be discussed during the interviewStore hours are 6:00 am to 6:00 pm with some seasonal changeMust be available for opening and closing shifts, including some weekends

Qualifications And Educational Requirements

A minimum of 3 years' experience in the restaurant, hospitality, or retail industryA minimum of 1 year of proven management experienceProven track record of building sales, increasing profits, team member development, and operational improvementEffectively manage confidential and sensitive informationAccurate, confident and dependableExcellent communication skillsFriendly, energetic and strong people skillsBasic math and computer skillsThe candidate must successfully pass a background check
