Software Development Engineer II, AWS Identity Job ID: 2554923 | Amazon Development Center U.S., Inc.The AWS Identity organization is seeking a Software Development Engineer II to join our team building innovative cloud-based identity and access management services. As a Software Development Engineer II, you will collaborate with talented engineers to create and deploy systems and services to meet the needs of our customers.Key job responsibilitiesResponsibilities:Design, implement, test and deploy highly scalable distributed systems and servicesDecompose complex problems into simple, straightforward solutions while understanding system interdependencies and limitationsShare knowledge of effective performance, scalability, architecture, and engineering patterns and methodsCreate clear, maintainable, well-documented code that meets coding standards and best practicesParticipate in code reviews, source control management, build processes, release management, and operationsWork closely across teams and disciplines to deliver high-quality products and servicesBASIC QUALIFICATIONS - 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experienceExperience programming with at least one software programming languagePREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS - 5+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experienceBachelor's degree in computer science or equivalentExperience building large-scale distributed systems and cloud servicesAmazon is committed to a diverse and inclusive workplace.
