TEAM AND ROLE Product Designer @ PRODUCT TEAM
As a Product Designer you will be part of an exceptional team: Imagine working closely with passionate product managers, cutting-edge developers, expert data analysts, and a few AI enthusiasts. You should be excited to work closely with our team of product managers, data analysts, and developers, bringing your creativity and positivity to our work environment. This doesn't exempt methodology; it's our mantra, our sprints, and reporting are sacred.
Visual Design Skills: We expect you to be a designer with exceptional skills in user interface (UI) and user experience (UX) design. Your designs should be functional, visually appealing, and attentive to micro-interactions. If you're up-to-date and use other market products as references, you're one of us. We don't want to reinvent the wheel.
Remote Work Experience: While we don't mind the location, our team often meets in Madrid or Valencia. Remote work also requires certain skills to do it effectively as a group. If you have previous experience with remote work, tell us about your dynamics for feeling closer to others; it's key
Possess Strong Communication and Storytelling Skills: A designer who presents their designs poorly... The ability to present and sell your designs effectively is crucial. We're not just talking about writing or speaking but also about how to draft a developer handoff, organize a file in Figma, and more. The team will need to 'buy' into your designs
Your day-to-day as a Product Designer Design: You'll spend most of your day designing. You'll understand the specifications and objectives of the designs to be created and spend hours in Figma crafting customer and freelance experiences for Shakers on desktop and mobile (some screens will need tablet-sized designs too).
Test your designs: It will be your way of convincing stakeholders that your designs work and creating user-testing dynamics.
Participate in creation dynamics: with the entire product team to make the Product Trio (PM, Designer, Dev) a success. The more involved you are in this aspect, the less effort it will take to execute your designs.
Maintain and improve the Design System: You'll be the guardian of our ever-evolving design system, ensuring it aligns with best practices and the latest trends, and that developers understand the applied changes.
Teams 'Handoff': Your work doesn't end with a Figma file marked as 'completed.' Along with the Product Managers, you'll be responsible for creating specifications for the development team (developer handoff), designing the 'adoption' strategy for your new designs (onboarding, email creatives, etc.), and ensuring that the implemented developments match the visual precision specified in your designs.
It's a Bonus: Experience in B2B or HR/Fintech sectors is a plus: If you have experience in these fields, we'll be excited.
Knowledge of marketplaces: We operate as a 'double commit' marketplace, and the particular complexity that entails. If you've worked in marketplaces, we're looking for you.
We're going international, and we're already translating our documentation into English. Being proficient in our language and English is key to our future.

The process consists of 3 interviews:
Round 1: People & Culture team - It will be an informal chat with People & Culture Team - We want to find more about you, your hobbies, goals, etc.
Round 2: Manager & PRODUCT Team - You´ll meet two people from the team (Surely, one of our Founders). It's your opportunity to present the case study and prove that you're the best Developer out of all the ones we can hire.
Round 3: Founder of Shakers - One of our Founders is really looking forward to meeting you. You'll have the opportunity to take a coffee with one of them and chat about Shakers, our future and your expectations.
