A specialist ASIC and FPGA Design Company in the Malaga Area is looking for talented Engineers to carry out Development, Test, and Verification of FPGA and ASIC IP Core Products.We offer an international and stimulating work environment, a competitive remuneration, and the possibility to engage with leading-edge Digital Video application projects.
Our customers are well-known names in the entertainment and IT industries.The role will include the design, development, and verification of existing and future IP Core products using both hardware and simulation techniques.Responsibilities include:Development of complex ASIC and FPGA-based RTL designs.Running RTL level simulations on FPGA designs and documenting results in formal test reports.Analyzing FPGA design test results and identifying areas of non-compliance with design specifications.Collaborating with other FPGA design engineers to develop design changes to address issues.Performing analysis of Verilog code and creating test solutions or justifications to achieve near 100% test code coverage.Performing hardware test verification using specialized test equipment.Experience & KnowledgeEssential:Experience in designing and verifying complex ASIC and FPGA designs using VHDL, Verilog, or SystemVerilog.Experience generating requirements-based test cases and creating traceability reports.Familiarity with self-checking test benches.Knowledge of ModelSim/Questa test bench environment.Ability to understand and adhere to internal development processes.Good understanding of version control methods.Desirable:Experience with the full ASIC/FPGA lifecycle from planning to production transition.Knowledge of Digital Video Interface Protocols (e.g., SDI, HDMI, DVI, DisplayPort, Vx1, HDCP, DSC).Knowledge of FPGA design tools from Intel, Xilinx, Lattice, and Microsemi.Familiarity with Mentor Verification IP (VIP).Skills & Competencies:Strong organizational and communication skills.Excellent team-working skills, especially with remote team members across different time zones.Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.Flexible work style, ability to work under pressure, and self-initiative.Passionate, proactive, and professional, especially under pressure.Ability to work to schedules and budgets is essential.High proficiency in written and spoken English.
