We are making significant strategic investments that will not only decrease our own environmental footprint, but also help customers adapt to long-term environmental and social change through the development of cleaner, greener solutions.We are looking for an IT Project Manager (IT PM) for Barcelona (Spain) who will be responsible for planning, budgeting, managing, documentation, validation, and controlling of medium and large IT projects and programs.
The IT PM will monitor and track the progress of project tasks and deliverables of internal subject matter experts and external consultants.
The IT PM establishes and maintains relationships with project stakeholders, and provides regular updates to them.
The IT PM manages project risks and mitigation actions.
The IT PM is responsible for the successful completion of projects and handover to the RUN organization.Key Responsibilities:Project planning, budgeting, managing, and controllingMonitor and track the progress of project tasks and deliverablesManage project risks and issuesMonitor the development process to ensure quality standards are metEstablish and maintain relationships with stakeholdersUtilize Agile tools to track and manage project progressTrain and mentor team members on Agile methodologyEnsure compliance with Agile processes and best practicesProvide regular progress updates to stakeholdersIdentify and address any impediments that impact team performanceFacilitate team meetingsProduce and analyze project metrics to identify areas for improvementEnsure successful delivery of projects within budget, scope, and timelineSupports IT portfolio management processSupports Junior IT PMs and subject matter expertsPerform other duties as assignedKey Requirements:Good knowledge of IT business systems and related processesUnderstanding of project delivery and acceptance processes within a fast-paced business environmentAbility to manage project teamsExperienced in project planning, budgeting, managing, and controllingAbility to identify project risks and define mitigation actionsExperienced with agile tools (Jira) to track and manage project progressProven ability to drive toward a goal and manage different workstreams within a projectCan-do attitudeExcellent written and oral communication skillsAbility to work with remote teams and across time zones to develop strategies and foster a cohesive and creative work environmentExecute on projects where all the information is not always available, and priorities can changeReport and communicate progress, issues, and plans to stakeholders in a comprehensive mannerArxada is an equal opportunity employer.
