.Looking for a chance to create a positive impact on our society?We are looking for a Python developer for our Siemens Defense Platform. This team is responsible for evolving and maintaining the Threat Intelligence solutions used by our worldwide Cyber Threat Intelligence team. Cyber threat Intelligence provides useful and actionable information in a timely manner to multiple stakeholders to support in the tactical, operational, and strategical threat-based decision making.If you are a Python developer, interested in the Cybersecurity field, keep readingAs Python Developer / DevOps for Threat Intelligence platforms you will:Work on projects to improve Cyber Threat Intelligence at Siemens; primarily by writing code in PythonCollaborate with internal security teams to implement and automate threat intelligence related processesContribute improvements, ideas and features for our internal applications and processesDevelop new features and integrate them into our applicationsIncrease the automation in our environment and improve our CI/CD pipelinesOperate and troubleshoot our applications on-premises and in the cloudTo make a difference, you must have:At least 3 years of relevant work experience in Software development and/or DevOps Engineering.Significant experience with software development with the following technologies: Python, web frameworks like Django/Fast API, JavaScript, Vue, REST APIs, Open API.Strong analytical skills with the ability to understand complex technical systems with attention to detail and accuracy.Ability to present and explain complex technical topics to both management and technical experts.Ability to work in a self-guided and result-oriented fashion with the clear desire to become an acknowledged technical expert in your own area of expertise.Fluent in spoken and written English.Knowledge or experience in some of the following areas a nice to have:Cloud Security expertiseTechnical system expertise with the following technologies: Linux, Kubernetes, AWS, Docker, Terraform, Gitlab CI, Elastic Search, Configuration Management (Ansible, Puppet).Experience with Cyber Threat Intelligence Platforms like MISP, etc., and Cyber Threat Intelligence feeds like STIX, and TAXII.Work experience in a SOC, CSIRT, CERT, or similar security teamExperience with IAM (OAuth2 / OpenID)Experience with Zero Trust architecture.What do we offer?A flexible way of working: Hybrid concept + flexible working hours to promote work-life balance.An environment where everyone can bring their whole self to work and feel a sense of belonging.A workplace that values curiosity and guarantees continuous learning, with development opportunities for both personal and professional growth.Share matching programs to become a shareholder of Siemens AG.A broad range of benefits and flexible compensation plans
