We are looking for a Tech Specialist - Mobile Specialist - iOS to be part of our Nestlé Nespresso Digital and Tech Team.
Position Snapshot Location: Nespresso Headquarters, Barcelona, Spain Type of Contract: Permanent Type of work: Hybrid Work Language: Fluent Business English About the Role As an iOS Mobile Technology Specialist, you will be working on the mobile technology powering the Nespresso business, both on eCommerce and IoT landscapes.
You will work in a direct-to-customer context with significant volumes and traffic and a rich feature offering, being part of a large development organization with direct impact on the online business.
As a central part of the software engineering community, you will bring deep technical expertise and knowledge to the product team, being part of the technical reference team for Nespresso mobile applications.
You will guide and promote optimal use of technology to support the cost-effective delivery of business requirements within your area of expertise.
As an iOS Mobile Technology Specialist, you will provide the necessary leadership, analysis, and design tasks related to the development of iOS applications.
You will work closely with the Android specialist, DevOps, development teams, and suppliers to secure optimal delivery and maximize business value.
What You'll Bring Interpret written business requirements and technical specification documents.
Provide the product team with technical expertise, advising on the best technology solutions, translating the business vision into a technical vision.
Perform preliminary studies, general systems specifications, and detailed systems specifications.
Estimate development effort for new projects and report progress of developments to both technical and non-technical communities.
Liaise closely with suppliers and vendors, especially where third parties work or packages involve significant functional, technical, process, data, or integration decisions.
Ensure the quality of the delivery of external partners and its alignment with the Nespresso strategy.
Recommend, set up, and follow development best practices and ensure their adoption inside software development teams.
Contribute to the availability and evolution of the Continuous Integration solution (including quality and security checks) in collaboration with the teams running the service.
Drive and influence the technical activity (design, build, testing) in significant or complex development initiatives.
Assist others in resolving complex technical problems and investigating the root cause of problems and recommending smart (specific, measurable, achievable, realistic, timely) solutions.
Responsible for ensuring that all solutions within your technology area are delivered and maintained securely and compliant with internal standards and external regulations.
Participate in peer reviews of deliverables and carry out formal and informal reviews of technical designs, standards, documentation, and/or implementations.
