Join us in Alpiq We reward your energy If you want to be part of this great project, join us as Business Developer You will join a young, dynamic, and international environment, where your role will be key to identify and develop business opportunities aligned with the company's strategy, to prepare the profitability analysis, and to participate in the negotiation for the incorporation of assets into the portfolio of owned projects. Your responsibilities:
Identification and valuation of new business opportunities (project portfolio or project) to be incorporated into the company in the field of renewable energies, assets with flexibility, storage, and hydrogen.
Direct participation in due diligence processes for the acquisition of projects/companies, and analysis of generation assets (mainly valuation of assets under development).
Participation in the acquisition of projects/companies after due diligence.
Negotiation of co-development agreements with third parties.
Ensuring and monitoring the fulfillment of developer and project commitments as set out in the acquisition and development agreements.
Your profile:
Degree in Industrial Engineering / Civil Engineering.
Master's degree in renewable energies or similar will be valuable.
At least 5 years of experience in the development of renewable generation assets in Spain (utilities, developers, or leading consultancy firms).
Experience in the acquisition of portfolios/projects (due diligence, economic valuation, and negotiation with third parties).
Financial modeling for the modeling of generation projects.
Experience in energy management of generation assets in Spain and electricity markets.
Knowledge of the regulation of the Spanish electricity market in terms of generation.
Proficiency in the Office package.
High level in English (C1).
Strong problem-solving, team-player, analytical, and communication skills, with the ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities, always with critical thinking and client and results orientation.
