.Job Title: PMC Static EngineerLocation: Madrid, SpainJob Type: Full-TimeIndustry: Oil & Gas / PetrochemicalJob Summary:We are seeking a skilled and experienced PMC Static Engineer to join our dynamic team in Madrid. This role is crucial for managing and ensuring the technical integrity of static equipment throughout the project lifecycle. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and reviewing design calculations, technical specifications, and vendor proposals, and will provide technical support to ensure compliance with project.Key Responsibilities and Duties:Design Calculations & Technical Specifications:Prepare and/or review design calculations for pressure vessels, tanks, and other static equipment.Prepare and/or review technical specifications to ensure they meet project requirements and standards.Vendor & Proposal Management:Prepare and/or review technical clarifications of pressure vessel vendor bids to ensure compliance with Aramco standards.Prepare and/or review technical reports to support the order placement of air coolers, heat exchangers, storage tanks, specialist equipment, and filters.Review and provide feedback on vendor proposals and technical clarifications.Interdisciplinary Coordination:Conduct inter-disciplinary delivery checking to ensure alignment and integration of static equipment design with other engineering disciplines.Actively communicate with other disciplines to optimize design interfaces and address any integration issues.Project Technical Support:Provide technical support for project activities, including risk assessments, design reviews, constructability assessments, and Hazards and Operability (HAZOP) studies.Ensure quality and adherence to project timelines for all deliverables.Change Management:Process and follow up on change order requests, including preparing Justification Work Sheets and issuing Change Order Requests to contractors.Lead scope alignment processes with contractors to ensure accurate implementation of changes.Design Coordination:Coordinate design efforts to support material requisitions and ensure compliance with technical project specifications.Analyze disputed items from both technical and contractual perspectives and prepare required official responses.Educational & Technical Requirements:Education:Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.Experience:10-15 years of experience in the Oil & Gas industry, with a focus on petrochemical projects and static equipment.Technical Skills:Advanced proficiency in design calculations, technical specifications, and vendor management.Communication Skills:Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.Proven ability to effectively communicate technical information and coordinate with various stakeholders.Competencies:Planning & Organization: Ability to plan, organize, and manage multiple tasks effectively
