Embedded Firmware Engineer

Siemens Gamesa is looking for an Embedded Firmware Engineer to join their team in Zamudio and San Fernando de Henares, Spain. This is a full-time position posted 30+ days ago.Job Responsibilities:Development and maintenance of firmware for wind turbine power control.Implementation of firmware in C language for power electronics converter control modules.Low-level firmware implementation for peripherals like I2C, SPI, CAN, or ADC.Analysis of requirements documents and writing detailed specifications, requirements, and firmware design documents.Verification of implemented firmware changes.Software versions management using a version control tool.Participation in converter validation to ensure compliance with design requirements.Adherence to quality processes through test procedure execution.Collaboration with other engineering teams to support product testing and certifications.Supporting presales, commissioning, and aftersales activities.Occasional travel to testing facilities and prototype sites may be required.Minimum Qualifications:At least 3 years of experience in embedded firmware development using C language.Deep knowledge of embedded systems.Experience in firmware design for DSPs, microcontrollers, and ZYNQ SoC.Understanding of Real-Time Operating Systems and control engineering basics.Proficiency in electronic instrumentation and digital hardware design basics.Knowledge of digital signal processing.#J-18808-Ljbffr
