Mollet del Vallès, SpainHybrid WorkingGlobal tech company founded in 2011Our mission is to shape the future through technologyThe RoleWe are looking for a Firmware Engineer focused on industrial sector specialized in embedded development, mainly with C, located in our Malaga office.
You will carry out the SW development to ensure the technical and functional feasibility of the products giving support to the project teams:Your tasks will include:Firmware development.Participate in product design reviews to provide input on functional requirements, product designs, schedules, or potential problems.Research, design and write new software programs.Analyze user requirements.Test new programs and fault finding.Generate the required SW design delivery documents and write technical documentation.Work closely with other staff, such as project managers, HW engineers, ME engineers, designers, developers, systems analysts, and sales and marketing professionals.Cooperate with manufacturing teams in the product industrialization.Manage effectively the product modifications during the development.
(*) The described functions are only the most representative for this position; therefore they should not be understood as all the inherent functions related to this job position.Job requirementsYou are an Embedded Software Engineer with 2 or more years of experience developing firmware with C and other tools like Matlab Simulink.
University Engineering Degree in SW Engineering/Computer Science or Telecommunications is a must.
A Team Working mindset, management and good communications skills are mandatory.We also loo for:Hands-on experience in Python programming.
Bash scripting is an asset.Previous experience in Real-time design and programming.Previous experience with FreeRTOS.Previous experience in a technical design and development role using Agile methodologies.Knowledge of several communication protocols: I2C, UART, CAN, FlexRay, Profinet, SPI, IO Link.Knowledge in Mechatronics, complex electronic devices.Basic electronics – schematics reading, oscilloscope, multimeter.Experience in development and maintenance of requirements.Experience in CM tools (SVN, JIRA, Mantis, Bugzilla, etc) on large scale projects.In Idneo we look for people that are not afraid to test the limits and make mistakes, who enjoy challenges and believe in themselves, willing to add, share and respect, passionate about technology.
