JOB SUMMARY
The Junior Contracts Engineer shall be responsible for reviewing and implementing the rights and obligations of the company and contractors in accordance with the legal aspects, conditions, and clauses of the contract to make sure that best practices are applied on the project.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES
Evaluate and accredit new contractors.
Evaluate contractor's cost proposals.
Prepare contract documents.
Manage any changes in the contract (change order, amendments, termination, etc.).
Coordinate with the Planning and Design department & Engineering department for design, quantities and budget matters.
Review all correspondence received from designers, quantity surveyor, and contractors for potential impact to the scope, schedule, and cost.
Advise project management teams on recommended responses to this correspondence based on his interpretation of the contract requirements.
Ensure security of pricing information.
Monitor the contractor's progress and performance to ensure goods and services conform to the contract requirements.
Monitor and oversee all contractual claim matters for projects from start to finish.
Prepare weekly and monthly report for Job Orders and Contracts monitoring.
Periodically audit contract documents.
C. JOB QUALIFICATIONS
Education: Graduate of Civil Engineering
Experience: At least one (1) year of work experience as Contracts Engineer in real estate, construction industry, or related businesses
Analytical skills
Problem-solving skills
Verbal and written communication skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
Willing to be assigned in Lucena City, Quezon
