Senior Data Engineer Opportunity – 12-Month Contract Conexus is proud to be collaborating with a well-known brand seeking Senior Data Engineers to join them on a critical 12-month project in Barcelona.
Role Details: Position: Senior Data EngineerRate: €550 - €600 per dayLocation: Barcelona (Hybrid options may be discussed)Duration: 12 months with potential extensionsYour Role: Act as the Senior Data Engineer for an end-to-end supply chain analytics product.Design, develop, and operate scalable, robust data pipelines and business logic.Collaborate with external development teams, reviewing and coordinating their work.Work closely with business stakeholders to understand requirements, resolve issues, and derive technical concepts.Drive efficiency and innovation by leveraging data and actively contributing to cross-functional agile teams.Establish yourself as a reliable partner for identifying data potential and delivering high-quality data products.What You'll Need: A Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field.5+ years of relevant experience in data engineering, including:Expertise in the Microsoft Azure data ecosystem (data ingestion, modelling, provisioning).Strong coding skills in SQL and Python.Proven ability to design and build ETL/ELT pipelines and deliver scalable data products.Familiarity with agile methodologies and experience in a professional development environment (CI/CD).Fluent in English (Spanish skills are a plus).What's in It for You?
