As Client Manager in Spain, you will support and develop clients and dealers. You will build and further develop long-term and trusting relationships with clients at a management, tactical, and operational level.
How does your job as Client Manager at Rijk Zwaan?
As Client Manager in Spain, you will support and develop clients and dealers. You will build and further develop long-term and trusting relationships with clients at a management, tactical, and operational level. You will provide professional advice and consult customers on Rijk Zwaan products and modern technologies. You will track market trends and look for new clients. You will work with a professional CRM system and accurately forecast sales forecasts and results.
Additionally, you will be responsible for:
Defining the strategy for your clients (Know their position in the chain, Identify potential growth opportunities, create the strategy and translate it into a concrete client plan)
Leading client activities (Be the first point of contact for the client and introduce the right specialists at the right time, Identify and develop relationships with key decision makers of the client at all levels, Work across Rijk Zwaan to create custom solutions, Identify strategic partnership opportunities)
Being accountable for the results (Identify sales opportunities and report activities of the competition, make the value of our proposition explicit, be responsible for the collection of overdue payments, deal promptly with potential complaints)
Using RZ systems and tooling for effective international collaboration (CRM, Analyze client information, timely sales forecast)
Taking care of communication with relevant stakeholders

You take initiative easily and have a commercial and client-focused approach. You possess good analytical skills and are able to think strategically. You are a team player with strong communication skills. You keep track of the latest developments in the horticultural industry and are an independent self-starter with the ability to set your own goals and agenda in line with the company policy and local management.

A completed Bachelor's degree in the field of Agriculture;
7-10 years of relevant work experience in sales and account management in an international environment;
Leadership skills;
Influence and persuasion to lead and manage diverse client teams;
Networking skills – ability to build bridges and connect people;
Willingness to travel frequently (both domestic and international);
Project and process management skills;
Good command of written and spoken English;
