Offer DescriptionThe Sustainable Fuel group is seeking a Junior Innovation Engineer for an industrial project with Naturgy (VAUTORACK).
The project aims to validate innovative reactors for converting biogas and hydrogen into biomethane at a real-site, supporting the transfer of catalytic reactor technology to the market.
As part of an interdisciplinary team, you will support experimental validation, contribute to process design and optimization, and assist in the installation, integration, and start-up of the reactor system.
Collaboration with industrial partners will ensure alignment with real-world needs.
This position offers hands-on experience in biomethane technologies, working closely with energy and industrial companies, providing exposure to innovation challenges and solutions.
The role may lead to continued involvement through the creation of a spin-off company under consideration.
ResponsibilitiesIntegrate the prototype into a biogas plant, including systems for biogas cleaning, compression, electrolysis, gas monitoring, and evacuation.Experimentally validate the prototype under real operating conditions at the EDAR Pinto wastewater treatment plant (Madrid).Implement technical improvements based on experimental results, focusing on performance and cost-effectiveness.Collaborate with the research team to scale up innovations for the market.Required documentsApplicants should submit via email:
