About this project: We want to unify the products shared by suppliers into a single product sheet to avoid checking how many suppliers have the product.
Project Overview: We aim to develop a module for PrestaShop 7 and 8 that allows us to manage the information attached in the screenshot (explained below).
The module should ensure that we do not need to create the same product just because it comes from a different supplier.
If we have a product created, it should have a single product sheet with all the information we want to include, while allowing us to add:SupplierSKU/Reference from the supplierEAN (instead of description, which will be unique for each product)PriceStock The remaining fields of the product sheet will be universal for all, including the EAN we want to reflect in the product, which does not have to match the one assigned by the supplier.
The purpose of this module is to save a lot of space because we have many products that are the same but duplicated 3 or 4 times (due to having 3 or 4 different suppliers).How should it work?
The program should allow a sweep through the database and:If it does not find another product with the same EAN in our database, this product ID will be taken as a unique product sheet.
