The company currently has more than 950 professionals in the different areas in which it operates.Neotalent, the responsive people.Role Overview:One of our clients dedicated to providing Project Management and EPCM support in all phases of the project life-cycle is currently recruiting a Mid-Senior Control System Engineer to join their regional team (Spain) in Cartagena.What you will do:This position supports the E&I department on assigned projects through the following Key Responsibilities :Perform and check calculations for simple equipment, and solve problems of basic to moderate engineering complexity.Review vendor equipment documentation for compliance with project requirements, and actively seek discrepancy resolution.Develop estimates, schedules, progress reports, and key quantity tracking reports.Identify deviations in job scope, estimate magnitude of changes, and initiate trends or change orders.Support estimate activities.Interface with project disciplines and client representatives.Develop and build client relations promoting Client Service Excellence.Participate in activities associated with equipment and material procurement, permitting, and subcontracting.Assist in the review of vendor lists, preparation of quotation requests, bid tabulations, purchase orders, and considerations for substitutions for technical acceptability.Analyze and make independent recommendations regarding solutions to problems with varying complexity in accordance with organization and/or project objectives and guidelines.Organize and prioritize a variety of projects and multiple tasks in an effective and timely manner, set priorities, and meet deadlines.Plan and organize own work assignments, as well as carry out tasks from management staff.Prepare/review scopes of work for third party contracts.Perform control systems sizing calculations for control valves, relief valves, flow elements, thermowells and other instrumentation.Create instrument index, datasheets and generate reports in Intergraph SmartPlant Instrumentation database.Develop control systems narrative specifications
