Junior Tax Analyst - USA We are looking for a professional to join us as Junior Tax Analyst.
You will support our U.S. Corporate Taxation Team, bringing issues with them and working in different aspects of the taxation.
We will provide you with all the necessary training regarding the US taxation, everything that you need to be successful in this role.
Our office is in Sant Cugat del Valles, and we can offer some home office flexibility.
Duties, tasks, and responsibilities: Collect data and perform analytics for various tax compliance and provision processes and procedures.
Download, analyze, and prepare data from SAP and other sources for income and non-income tax returns.
Maintain fixed asset cost basis and depreciation for U.S. federal and state tax purposes.
Track tax basis in intangible assets and related tax amortization.
Assist with gathering and analysis of property, payroll, and sales data for apportionment of income for U.S. state income tax return purposes.
Assist with quarterly calculation and tracking of uncertain tax positions for tax contingency reserve purposes.
Reconcile accrued income tax and other tax accounts on the balance sheet.
Input/review quarterly tax payment forecast in OneStream.
Calculate earnings and profits and 'tested income' of non-U.S. subsidiaries.
Assist with annual compilation of components of deferred tax.
Assist with U.S. GAAP adjustments of non-U.S. subsidiaries.
Assist with annual review of non-U.S. income tax provisions.
Verify and process tax payments.
Research and process customer requests for sales tax refunds.
Assist with maintenance of sales tax exemption certificates from customers.
Retrieve data requested by tax authorities for tax audits/examinations.
Perform various other tax department tasks as assigned.
Assist with European VAT compliance as needed.
Skills and qualifications: Bachelor's degree in accounting or experience in corporate finance area.
SAP, OneStream experience a plus.
Strong communication skills (written and oral).
Fluent in English.
Strong analytical skills.
Ability to write standard business letters and memos.
