Together, we keep everyday life moving to build a better tomorrowHiab Cranes is looking for a Material Planner to ensure the appropriate supply of Cost - efficient and high quality materials required to maintain steady production and product delivery.
The position will be based in Zaragoza, Spain.
Main tasks and responsibilitiesRelease of purchase orders for direct material (those used in Production)Monitoring of orders to ensure that there is no lack of supply on the Production linesProvide technical and daily activities and understand the demand to develop materialmanagement activities, such as logistics or warehousingNegotiation and monitoring with suppliers, mostly international, to adjust theirproduction capacity to ours.What you'll need to succeedUniversity degree or equivalent, with relevant engineering and/or industrial experienceAt least 2 years relevant work experience in logistics / sourcing roles in an international and multi-site companyExperience in working with large suppliers with global multi-site footprint and managing supplier relations and negotiationsExperience in using ERP systemsExperience in complex steel assemblies / hydraulic systems / electrical & electronicspreferredFluency in English - both written and spokenExcellent knowledge in sourcing methods; supplier relationship management,contract negotiation, analytical skills and legal/contractual knowledgeContinuous improvement mindset with a business-driven and fact based approachtowards suppliers with a focus on building long-term relationships.You will be part ofWe offer you a position in a global organisation where you are challenged with interestingand diverse tasks.
