Headquartered in Poland, Breslau, Baselinker has 8 independently-run team across the globe (Brazil, Czech Republic, Romania, India, UK, USA, DACH, India). Currently, we are experiencing exponential growth and are scaling globally. We have made a few acquisitions, set up new businesses and grown the team significantly (team size 10x growth in last 3 years) - already exceeding 230 professionals.

We are seeking an exceptional professional with relevant experience who is passionate about eCommerce and entrepreneurship. The new Head of Spain/Portugal will join the Executive Leadership Team and will play a pivotal role heading into the next growth phase. A successful candidate will build out sales team, oversee growth initiatives and operational improvements within the market.

Experience

- 6+ years of professional experience
- relevant experience in eCommerce in the region (marketplaces, eShops, eCommerce Saas Solutions, Fulfilment providers, shipping automation companies etc.)
- great understanding of market conditions and industry trends

- entrepreneurial mindset and great organisational skills
- strong leadership skills to help guide market leaders and teams to achieve its business goals
- excellent written and verbal communication skills (English, Spanish, knowledge of Portuguese will be a plus)
- comfort with customer relationship management
- team player with a passion for learning
- flexible, professional, accurate, and structured
- outgoing, friendly, and fun to be around

Tasks

- scale-up Baselinker commercial activity in the region
- build and manage a high-performing local team (support, business development & optionally tech)
- drive Business Development Initiatives (local markets partnerships, paid media, email campaigns)
- work cross-functionally with a global tech team to elevate the product
- plan and execute business operations (own region P&L;)

- develop and execute strategies and annual work plans for local team
- manage local markets relationships with key companies from the ecommerce ecosystem
- Being the face of BaseLinker in the region
