Purpose of the job:Troubleshooting of Alstom products at customer site in order to ensure their availability. Provide technical expertise to other maintenance teams, subcontractors, warranty support team, project team members, and less experienced personnel. Organization structure (job belongs to):Services Site, Country, Cluster, Region or Platform. Product Introduction (PI) and Maintenance teams are both part of Services group, providing support to our customers during railways operations. Reports directly to:PI Supervisor or Maintenance Field Engineer Other reporting to:Troubleshooting Manager or Team Leader, or Maintenance Supervisor Network and links:Internal:Customer Site Services team (PI, Maintenance)PI Support teamRAMS teamProject Engineering team (site and back-office)Installation and Test & Commissioning team (if applicable)Internal Supplier representatives (Components/PU)Global System representatives (if applicable)External:Customer site teamExternal Supplier representative Job location:The position is based at one of the sites in Yucatán peninsula where the rolling stock stops after revenue service: workshops, parking yards, stations. Occasionally, it can be required to accompany a driver during a test run or during revenue service, or to make an intervention anywhere on the Tren Maya line. Job hours:Troubleshooting activities are typically managed by rotation on different shifts: most of corrective job on trains is undertaken during night shift, and technical assistance coverage is set up according to revenue service hours.Main responsibilities:Key accountabilities:Carry out Maintenance activities of the Rolling Stock:Mainly corrective: Troubleshooting as well as Pre-warranty & Commissioning (and Validation & Certification if applicable), including investigation and repairOccasionally preventive, including fleet check activitiesIncludes interventions in maintenance workshops and parking yards (most of time) + occasionally in stations and anywhere on Tren Maya lineReports & register any deviation (failure/event) in Failure Management database including configuration data.Support operation doing Data Analysis, using especially HealthHub (HealthHub is the Alstom platform for collecting, processing and analyzing data produced by the maintained assets, for handling and continuously optimizing operation and maintenance).Opening of failure notifications and management of corrective Service Orders in the Maintenance Management System.Apply & enforce Alstom & customer EHS & security rules and relevant PI processes on customer site.Execute test & troubleshooting procedures to evaluate system performance and performs failure analysis on parts to be returned for repair.Support Implementation Field Modifications (FM operator), if required.Support specific technical investigations by Engineering or internal/external Suppliers.Recommends preventative and corrective actions.Instructs and directs operators in field modification and repairs if needed.Advises PI management regarding customer satisfaction, product performance, and suggestions for product enhancements.Ensure good information flow about interventions & operations within Troubleshooting to support shift transition, if needed.Lead Troubleshooter team, if needed.Conducts peer reviews of PI activities and provide technical leadership if requested.Contribute to Return of Experience.Performance measurement:Achievement of contractual availability (milestone) targetsCharacterization of K1S/K2/K3 issues on timeCompleteness and Quality of failure/event diagnosis/data recorded in Maintenance Management System databaseAvailability of configuration update dataAudit results (internal and external)Customer satisfaction of technical expertiseCompliance with EHS rules and work-related processesEducational requirements:Mandatory:Certified Technician or Undergraduate in technical area (mechanical or electrical/electronics)Minimum IT knowledgeInternal EHS trainingDesirable:Graduate in technical area (mechanical or electrical/electronics)English: fluent reading & writing, able to follow a technical conversationExperience:Mandatory:Technical troubleshooting/investigation/testing experience (mechanical or electrical/electronic)Field ExperienceEHS knowledge and exposureRailways Product knowledgeDesirable:Railway Safety/Product liabilityEngineering knowledgeCustomer contactSelf-governmentLanguages:1 – lee, se expresa mal, no puede seguir una conversación2 – lee fluidamente, puede expresarse, comprende difícilmente3 – habla y comprende fácilmente4 – muy buenos conocimientos5 – lengua maternaIDIOMAS:CASTELLANO: XINGLES: XYou don't need to be a train enthusiast to thrive with us.
