Senior Technical Consultant - Configuration Management Madrid, M, ES Micro Focus (now OpenText) is one of the world's largest enterprise software providers.
We deliver mission-critical technology and supporting services that help thousands of customers worldwide manage core IT elements of their business so they can run and transform—at the same time.Your Impact As a Senior Technical Consultant in Configuration Management, you will be instrumental in delivering advanced IT solutions to our clients by analyzing business needs and designing and implementing technology strategies.
You will develop and implement IT Service Management strategies that align with client business objectives, provide tailored IT Configuration Management solutions, and lead the technical implementation of large-scale CMDB projects.You will oversee the deployment of cloud-based solutions to reduce infrastructure costs and enhance system performance, conduct detailed system analysis and integration to ensure seamless operation between legacy and new technologies, and provide technical support and guidance to clients and team members.

Experience: 3+ years in IT service management or a related field, with proven experience with ITIL frameworks and best practices.
Technical Expertise: Proficiency in programming languages (Java, Python, C++), databases (SQL, Oracle, MongoDB, PostgreSQL), tools (Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins), and platforms (Windows, Linux, macOS).
Communication Skills: Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to build client relationships.
Leadership Abilities: Strong leadership skills with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Language Proficiency: Fluent in English (both written and spoken), with additional proficiency in German or French highly valued.
Product Experience: At least 2 years of experience in large-scale implementations of Configuration Management Database solutions such as OpenText UCMDB, BMC Helix CMDB, ServiceNow CMDB, and others.
