Mission
As a Propulsion Design Engineer (Feed) at PLD Space, your mission is to design and develop cutting-edge feed systems for our launch vehicles and spacecraft. Your role is pivotal in ensuring the performance, reliability, and efficiency of the feed, contributing to the success of our space missions.
Responsibilities Participate in system design and architecture of liquid rocket propulsion subsystem. Tasks include concept design, detail design and creation of 2D drawings, as well as design support to production and assembly. Design of main feed components. Design of support structures and additional subsystems elements. Conduct trade studies and evaluations of propulsion system configurations and technologies to support decision-making processes. Liaise with other engineering departments (Structures, M&P, Quality, etc.). Optimisation of design solutions and completion of assigned tasks "on time, on quality, on cost
