.At ING we are looking for KYC Signatory/ Subject Matter Expert (SME) Your role and work environment: We are looking for a talented and enthusiastic KYC Signatory/SME to join our KYC Team of Wholesale Banking Iberia. The responsibility of this team is to ensure that KYC for periodic review and onboarding clients is completed on time. Our way of working requires organization skills, proactivity, and attention to detail. You will fulfill a wide range of tasks and roles, such as a signatory, ensuring consistent risk-based decisions. You will have the ability to lead the way on subject matter-related issues. You will work closely with both internal and external parties/stakeholders, and you will be an experienced sparring partner on operational level. You will be able to proactively start improvement initiatives and take on responsibility. You will be a role model in the cooperation with ING colleagues across countries, collaborate to enhance team agility and use operational information to get alignment in your team. Your key responsibilities: As a KYC Signatory/SME you will: Perform non-financial risk assessment of clients. Identify the type of business relations/activities that a client is likely to engage in and determine whether these relations/activities are suspicious and could expose the bank to potential economic loss or reputation or other risks. Act as first point of escalation for KYC Analysts in the course of the KYC life cycle. Positively contribute to ensure that Local Unit's CDD production meets the quality standards required by the Group. Liaise with internal stakeholders (FO, SM, MLRO) to ensure efficient and timely approvals, in line with market demands. What are we looking for? Want to know if this job is made for you? Fluent in Spanish and English, both verbal and written (additional language is a bonus, but not required). Expertise in KYC. Possess drive with a 'can do' attitude. Recognize important information, ability to research and make connections. Working knowledge with Vantage is a plus. Good knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
