This well known media group are looking for an Indirect Tax Manager to assist with European tax indirect tax affairs. A newly created role following a period of excellent financial performance. You will report to the Indirect Tax lead and form part of a high performing tax team and wider finance team. This role would suit someone making a second move in industry or an ambitious commercially minded individual looking for their first step in-house. Key responsibilities Helping to ensure business decisions are made with full awareness of Indirect Tax risks and opportunities. Involvement in ongoing technology projects to capture VAT, Excise Duties and Customs Duties requirements. Actioning due diligence checks in in a timely manner, ensuring required tax amendments are implemented as appropriate Provision of a tax advisory role on a range of cross border projects from an Indirect Tax perspective. Management of the relationship with Revenue Working with the Group Tax team, updating regularly on Irish Indirect Tax matters and ensuring alignment to Group tax strategy. Ensuring all Indirect Tax deadlines are achieved Supporting the outsourced Indirect Tax Compliance function Advising on Excise Duties and Customs Duties and other ad-hoc indirect tax compliance. Reviewing the tax returns and tax payments for all companies within the Group.
