ISGlobal is accredited with the Severo Ochoa distinction, a seal of excellence of the Spanish Science Ministry.Lugar Barcelona, Campus MarWHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR ISGlobal is seeking a part-time Assistant Research Professor who is interested in taking over and managing activities of the project EPHOR, in one of the work packages aiming to investigate the effects of shift work on health by looking at short-term exposures. Effects of short-term exposures, in relation to the working life exposome, biological pathways, early markers of disease and key body functions will be assessed using external and internal exposome data. The candidate will give support to data preparation and data analysis of the of the EPHOR project, specifically in the analyses of hormones and inflammation markers.The EPHOR project has received funding from the European Union's Horizon 2020 research and innovation programme under grant agreement No 874703.TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE /QUALIFICATIONS: Having a PhD in epidemiologyBroad experience in conducting analyses of biomarkers and on studies in circadian disruptionHaving first-authored publications in peer-reviewed journalsHaving experience in working in an interdisciplinary teamBe fluent in spoken and written EnglishDegree in biomedical sciences is an assetKEY RESPONSIBILITIES Epidemiologic and statistical analysis methods for research questions within the EPHOR consortiumAdvise on ongoing analyses and manuscript preparationContribute to data harmonization and data sharing protocolDisseminate project research findingsAUXILIAR TASK This job description reflects the present requirements of the post but may evolve at any time in the future as duties and responsibilities change and/or develop providing there is appropriate consultation with the post-holder.This job description is not a definitive or exhaustive list of responsibilities but identifies the key responsibilities and tasks of the post holder. A Psychological Competency Evaluation Test will be required for the structural or transversal positions.In accordance with the OTM-R principles, a gender-balanced recruitment panel is formed for every vacancy at the beginning of the process.
