Job TitleData Architect Principal SpecialistJob Description SummaryThe Data Architect will play a pivotal role in operationalizing critical data and analytics initiatives for Amadeus business's strategic data needs. This role will be responsible for designing, creating, deploying and managing the company's data architecture as per the DAMA framework guidelines.Service DeliveryConduct data architecture assessments and develop high-level integrated designs to meet strategic data requirements, aligning with company strategy and associated architecture of business applications.Design and implement effective data cartographies, dictionaries and models to document company data in coordination with the Amadeus Data Office.Assess database implementation procedures to ensure data quality and the effective use of information, ensuring data processes comply with internal and external regulations.Oversee the migration of data from legacy systems to new solutions.Participate in enterprise architecture assessments related to solutions aimed at improving new and existing database systems.Collaborate with transformation data-related projects to ensure compliance with data architecture standards and organisational goals.Promote the data architecture framework across the organisation, working on the adoption of policies and best practices by the different units and stakeholders involved.Service Strategy and EvolutionDevelop and maintain comprehensive data architecture standards, guidelines and policies aligned with the DAMA framework.Assess innovation with a continuous improvement mindset, reviewing and updating regularly the data architecture processes to adapt them to changing needs and technologies.Team EngagementProvide expertise and guidance on data architecture strategy, methodologies and best practices.Coach and train team members on data architecture principles and the DAMA framework.Candidate ProfileBachelor's or Master's degree in Information Management, Computer Science, or a related field.Strong work experience as a Data Architect, Data Scientist, Data Analyst, or similar role.Good knowledge of Amadeus Data and Analytics processes.Good understanding of Amadeus Organization, how BUs and Corporate Functions work, with their inter-departmental dependencies.Ready to make a difference?
