Due to expansion, GAC is currently recruiting for a fulltime Purchase Ledger Assistant, based at the port of Algeciras, Spain.
Key ResponsibilitiesProcessing high volumes of purchase invoices dailyCoding of overhead invoices and sending for authorisationMaintaining the Purchase LedgerResponding to customer and vendor queriesArranging supplier payments (preparing BACS payment runs and arranging overseas payments)Additional ad-hoc duties to support the Company Manager when requiredJob RequirementsThe ideal candidate will have: Two years minimum experience working within a fast-paced office environmentPurchase Ledger experience preferred but not essential as full training will be providedExcellent communication and organisation skillsStrong attention to detailKnowledge of Excel and other Microsoft applications preferredAbility to work extremely well within a team and to own initiativeThe PackageGAC gives you the opportunity to work for an employer who is committed to offering all our staff an enjoyable and rewarding career, with significant training and development prospects.
