We're looking for Graduate Developers to join our two-year Graduate programme, giving you experience working in a FTSE 100-listed software company.

Responsabilidades principales

What you will learn:

You will be part of a professional Engineering team that is developing a top-notch native cloud product.

You will live and breathe how is like to work in a high pace, strategic and high complexity project. After making it here, you will make it everywhere.

Code Reviews and Best Practices: Writing clean, maintainable code and learning industry best practices.

Version Control: Using Git and GitHub for source code management and collaboration.

Debugging and Testing: Mastering tools and techniques for debugging, test automation and unit testing.

Collaboration with Non-Technical Teams: Working with product managers, designers, and other stakeholders to ensure user-friendly and market-relevant applications.

To develop exposed services and components using dedicated frameworks provided internally by other Sage departments.

Participation in the design, automated testing and optimization of workflows.

Documentation: Generation of specific technical documentation in projects of high complexity.

Interaction with architects and senior developers and test engineers.

Integration in an Agile team, composed by Business Analysts, Developers and QA testers, following a Scrum framework according to the Sage standards.

International environment: team of multiple nationalities distributed in more than 5 countries.

What are we looking for?

You'll need to be a MSc Graduate, and whilst we're open to different degree disciplines, these roles are ideal for Computer Science graduates (or similar). You'll also need a passion for AI and the desire to use these skills to drive our products forward.

JavaScript. Basic to intermediate knowledge.

GitHub – basic knowledge on how to use and manage Commits, Pull Requests, … and other Github Actions (similar to Pipelines in Azure).

Postman and Jmeter – basic knowledge about how to use them to check quickly our Sage Active API requests.

Strong will to learn and work hard.

Can Do attitude and resilience against frustration.

Nice-to-have knowledge of Jira and Confluence. Don't worry if you don't know this. We'll teach you.

Alongside this, you'll also be

Able to demonstrate a passion for tech, with skills to match.

A keen eye for detail and an inquisitive mind to help problem solve.

You'll be resilient and determined, able to work in a fast-paced, changing environment.

As part of a global business, you'll be an effective communicator, able to collaborate with people from across the world.

These roles are based in Barcelona. You'll be in the office at least 2 days a week so will need to live in (or be willing to relocate to) an easily commutable distance.

3. If successful at video interview stage, you will be invited to attend an assessment centre in the summer (the first week of September).
4. Successful candidates will join us on 1 October 2024
