JOB OVERVIEWThe Linguistic Solutions team within PCS Instrument Services is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented entry-level Quality Assurance Specialist.The ideal candidate will support the quality assurance of translation project deliverables of Clinical Outcomes Assessments (COAs), ensuring the highest standards of accuracy and consistency.This role provides an excellent opportunity to develop QA skills within the Translation and Life Science industries.RESPONSIBILITIES• Assist in conducting quality assurance reviews on project deliverables and company COA assets to ensure accuracy, consistency, and adherence to quality standards• Help develop and maintain Quality Assurance Life Cycle documentation, including QA plans, checklists, test cases, and reports• Identify and document translation and documentation errors and inconsistencies, and collaborate with translators and project managers to address them• Contribute to the improvement of QA processes and best practices for COA management and translation projects• Assist in ensuring that all QA activities comply with relevant regulatory requirements and industry standards• Work closely with project managers, vendors, and other team members to address and resolve any discrepancies or issues found during the review process and support high-quality deliverables• Receive training and guidance on quality standards and QA best practices, with opportunities for skill development and career growth• Manage the set up and maintenance of all project documentation files and records according to the scope of work and SOPs• Take and record minutes, notes and actions at assigned meetings, distribute and follow up accordingly• Coordinate with other project support staff within and across the organization to identify and consolidate support processes• Undertake project management activities as directed by project manager• Manage multiple, parallel QA projects simultaneously• Assist with the establishment of new procedures and offer suggestions for process improvements for existing proceduresREQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES• Bachelor's degree• Excellent written/verbal communication skills, with ability to collaborate effectively with team members• Fluency in English is essential, an additional language would be a strong asset • Basic analytical and problem-solving skills to support the identification and resolution of quality issues• Results and detail-oriented approach to work delivery and output• Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities• Any previous experience in project management of localization and/or quality assurance work is a bonus• Meticulous attention to detail to ensure accuracy and consistency in project documentation and deliverables• Ability to follow instructions/guidelines, work independently and on own initiative, and manage time efficiently• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers, managers and clients with demonstrated cultural and emotional intelligenceThe above information on this description has been designed to indicate the general nature and level of work performed by employees within this classification.It is not designed to contain or be interpreted as a comprehensive inventory of all duties, responsibilities and qualifications required of employees assigned to this job.IQVIA is a leading global provider of advanced analytics, technology solutions and clinical research services to the life sciences industry.We believe in pushing the boundaries of human science and data science to make the biggest impact possible – to help our customers create a healthier world.Learn more at
