We are currently looking for a detail-oriented Senior Merchandiser / Demand Planner to be a key part of our Design and Buying team.
As a Merchandiser / Demand Planner, you will be responsible for creating and executing merchandise plans to drive sales and maximize profitability.
The ideal candidate will have a passion for fashion, strong analytical skills, and a keen eye for trends.
Close cooperation between the designer, buyers, and the planner is the key to success.The individual will also be responsible for forecasting and managing inventory levels for our seasonal collection and basic line.
This includes analyzing sales data, monitoring market trends, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure optimal stock levels, as well as cooperating closely with relevant departments such as Retail, E-Commerce, Sales, Back Office, and Logistics.
You will also develop and improve the flow in terms of a constantly changing demand pattern.In this position, you willDevelop and execute merchandising strategies to optimize product assortment and pricing, and drive sales.Propose re-runner styles and new additions to the basic line as well as influence decisions to phase out products based on performance and market trends.Analyze sales data and market trends to identify opportunities for growth and optimization and make recommendations for assortment adjustments as needed.Define collection structure based on the company vision, market and competition analysis, and retail wholesale performance.
Create the final product grid and follow closely in the development phase.Monitor and analyze sales performance and KPIs, providing regular reports and insights to management.Develop end-of-season reports and provide insights based on performance and feedback from sales teams.
The reports should be the basis for the future collection assortment strategy.Stay informed about industry trends, competitive landscape, and consumer preferences to inform merchandising decisions.Build and maintain relationships with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of merchandise and negotiate favorable terms.Manage inventory levels and allocation to ensure adequate stock levels and minimize excess inventory.Forecast, prebook and re-order on all basic items.Optimize and ensure the best supply chain flow possible to our warehouse in Denmark.Planning of stock buy with a focus on key markets and correct size break from data.Ad hoc creation of operational tools, reports, and sales forecasts, forming the basis for qualified decision-making.We'd love to meet someone who possessesCreative thinker with a passion for fashion and a keen eye for trends.A bachelor's in business or economics, supply chain, engineering, or international business.3+ years of experience in merchandise planning or a related role, preferably in the fashion industry.Experience with forecasting and inventory management software.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Excellent communication and collaboration skills.First-hand knowledge of demand planning /replenishment planning.Great skills in Microsoft Excel are a must along with knowledge of PowerBI.Fluency in English, both written and spoken.We offer youA workplace with an attractive location in the hip Nørrebro district of CopenhagenA modern, inspiring, and international atmosphereAttractive discounts on our clothing brandsAn accommodating workplace with the possibility of flexible working hoursA job with many possibilities and opportunities for personal and professional developmentThe Merchandiser / Demand Planner will be required to be comfortable working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment and possess strong attention to detail.
