The charter of the Acceptance group includes developing and commercializing technology, solutions and partnerships that help merchants accept electronic payments across channels with the best consumer experience working with the range of channel partners in the acceptance ecosystem including acquirers, payment facilitators, gateways, ISVs, ISOs, and many more. - Researches, analyzes, and summarizes quantitative / qualitative data to understand market situation and competitive analysis.
- Keeps oneself updated about competitor activities and technology changes and shares it with the team
- Understands the importance of building cross-cultural peer networks and actively works towards building one’s own
- Develops knowledge of Mastercard products and services
- Demonstrates basic understanding of our European market, payments industry and keeps self-up-to-date on latest trends
- Shows constant interest in learning while gaining greater depth of knowledge within one’s own subject matter area
- Owns and manages product documentation ensuring they are clear and easily consumable by cross-functional and management teams
- Exhibits effective oral, written, and non-verbal communications and delivers high quality work
- Supports and participates in post-launch reviews and ensures feedback is reincorporated into the product
- Identifies issues that will keep the product set from developing and delivering on time and/or with the desired requirements and works with internal teams and customer service to identify, classify, and prioritize customer issuesAll about you:
- Experience in the payments industry highly valuable
- Advanced skills in behind the desk research & analysis of quantitative / qualitative data
- Experience creating and delivering presentations and communications for various audiences
- Strategic mindset with a kick for innovation
- Ability to build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners
- Ability to navigate between business and technology
- Detail oriented and able to keep cross-functional projects moving against deadlines
- Entrepreneurial spirit that can bring new ideas and wants to make an impact
- Advanced university degree required, preferably in business / finance / engineering / mathematics
