We are seeking a Lead Java Developer to join our dynamic Product Management team. In this role, you will be responsible for architecting and implementing robust, scalable, and forward-thinking solutions as part of our product roadmap. You will collaborate closely with our Consulting, Support, and Customer Success teams to design and deliver high-quality software that meets our international clients' needs.
Key Responsibilities- Design and develop scalable, performant, and secure applications for HCM integration.
- Collaborate across departments to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Deliver enhancements, new features, and expansions to new modules according to our product roadmap.
- Expert Java development skills, including Spring / Spring Boot framework, with a minimum of 15 years of relevant experience.
- Experience with ETL tooling.
- Proficiency in REST APIs, web services, file distribution, encryption, and LDAP.
- Solid understanding of database technologies (including Oracle DB, SQL).
- Proficient in CI / CD, Agile, SCRUM, and Kanban methodologies.
- Experience with source control, build, and deployment tools (e.g., Git / GitHub, Jenkins, Liquibase, JIRA) is a plus.
- Experience with cloud architectures, microservices, and Kubernetes.
- Experience with Oracle Cloud HCM, ERP, or OCI is a plus.
- Ability to ensure code quality using unit testing frameworks (JUnit / Mockito / TestNG) and code coverage tools like JaCoCo.
- Experience with static code analysis tools like OWASP / SonarQube.
- Peer review and performance tuning experience (e.g., VisualVM).
- Experience managing technical teams.
- Ability to collaborate effectively within a diverse, international, and remote team environment.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and technologies to drive innovation within the team and apply it to product development.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to articulate complex topics to both technical and functional colleagues.
- Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus.
- Ability to work according to a UK / EU work schedule.
