Sales Application Specialist for Healthcare IT Solutions

Overview

The Sales Application Specialist is responsible for ensuring the specialized sales of Werfen IT products, guaranteeing customer satisfaction and excellent service levels. This role aims to provide efficiency, profitability, and sustainability to the BU HITS.

Key Responsibilities
  • Understand customer needs to provide solutions and establish long-term relationships with Key Account Managers (KAMs).
  • Maintain a high level of service to maximize customer satisfaction and operations' profitability.
  • Ensure solutions meet customer needs and expectations.
  • Be involved in pre-sales, sales, implementation, and sale of evolutions.
  • Manage various stakeholders (internal and external).
  • Act as a point of reference in IT solutions selling and projects.
External Responsibilities
  • Identify new customers and promote the change towards Werfen IT solutions.
  • Build confidence with decision-makers during initial interactions.
  • Generate business with new and existing clients, establishing relationships with decision-makers.
  • Prepare customers for understanding the level of service Werfen can offer.
  • Advise on evolutionary services selling and manage the global status of installations.
  • Gather initial requirements for project sizing.
  • Define project scope and service levels.
  • Create offers and calculate profitability.
  • Present and support economic and project proposals.
  • Lead bid preparation with KAM and necessary stakeholders.
  • Participate in project scope definition and planning.
  • Participate in project kick-off and steering committee.
  • Manage scope changes and be accountable for risk and deviation management.
  • Ensure quality control of project execution.
  • Manage conflicts in the kick-off phase.
  • Participate in project closure.
Internal Responsibilities
  • Act as a bridge between marketing, IT Operations, and the area.
  • Liaise with internal key stakeholders.
  • Achieve established business objectives.
  • Achieve operational objectives set by BU HITS.
  • Promote company regulations and quality policies.
  • Guarantee adherence to the company's Code of Ethics.
Requirements

This position requires a Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Telecommunications, Industrial Engineering, or similar fields. A Mid-level vocational training in Microcomputer and Network Systems or Operating IT Systems is also required. Additionally, experience in IT projects within Clinical Laboratories and/or hospital environments is essential.
