We're looking for a talented and experienced DevOps Engineer to join our team in Spain.

Help us build the next generation of customer feedback tools.

Magicfeedback is a fast-growing startup that's building the next generation of customer feedback tools. We help businesses of all sizes collect, analyze, and act on customer feedback to improve their products and services.

We offer a suite of customer feedback tools that makes it easy for businesses to collect feedback from their customers, analyze the feedback to identify trends and patterns, and take action to improve the customer experience.

What are you going to do?

  • Architect our infrastructure: automate deployments and scaling using Google Cloud Platform (GCP) tools.
  • Implement robust CI/CD pipelines for smooth scaling and efficiency.
  • Collaborate with developers to optimize our tech stack (built with Node.js and Python).
  • Own a piece of our backend, writing efficient code (Node.js or Python).

Duties and Responsibilities :

  • Design, develop, and implement infrastructure automation using GCP tools (Terraform, Ansible).
  • Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD) for seamless deployments.
  • Collaborate with developers to optimize our tech stack (Node.js & Python).
  • Contribute to backend development using Node.js or Python.
  • Monitor and maintain system health and performance.
  • Identify and implement DevOps best practices.

Required Qualifications :

  • Proven experience in DevOps principles and methodologies (Agile, GitOps).
  • Strong understanding of infrastructure automation tools (Terraform, Ansible).
  • Proficiency in CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD).
  • Solid knowledge of Linux and scripting languages (Bash, Python).
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a DevOps Engineer role.
  • Experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Experience working with cloud platforms (GCP preferred).
  • Experience in scripting languages beyond Bash and Python.
  • Experience in infrastructure monitoring and troubleshooting.
  • This position is a self-employed contract.
  • Fluency in English is essential for effective communication within the international team.
