Key Responsibilities

As a Lead Assessor at LRQA, you will conduct audits of management systems in the food industry, focusing on Food Safety systems. You will assess client implementation, identify areas for improvement, and provide expert guidance to enhance their overall management system.

Your expertise will also drive business growth through collaboration with clients, contributing to the development of our services, and identifying innovative solutions to meet their needs.

This is a dynamic role that requires strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills, along with a proactive attitude and assertiveness.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in the food industry (process and/or technology)
  • Adequate working experience in quality management and food safety in the food sector
  • Minimum of 2 years of work experience (in relation to food production and/or technology) in the food industry
  • Qualification for auditing in 3rd party IFS Food and/or BRC Food is obligatory
  • Additional qualification and experience in FSSC 22000 is a big benefit
  • Good command of English and Spanish both spoken and written
