At CORUS-Consulting, we are seeking a Data Engineer to work on an international insurance project in a remote setting from Spain.

The ideal candidate will:

  • Design, develop, and validate data processes to ensure alignment with business objectives.
  • Develop data pipelines using Azure Data Factory, Databricks, and Azure SQL to support data solutions.
  • Serve as a technical expert in a specific process or product area, conducting process reviews and initiating changes to contribute to continuous improvement of services.
  • Research externally primary data sources, select relevant information, and make recommendations to inform policy and/or product development.
  • Coach and train more junior team members.

We require:

  • Around 5 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Strong expertise in programming languages including R, Scala, Python, and SQL.
  • Comprehensive understanding and experience with Azure Data Factory, Azure SQL, Databricks, and Azure DevOps.
  • Effective communication skills, fluent English.
