**Associate Scientist – Analytical Development**

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Associate Scientist to join our team in Oss, Netherlands.

Your Role

As an Associate Scientist in Analytical Development, you will play a key role in implementing, developing, and validating chromatographic methods to characterize active pharmaceutical ingredients (API) in different stages of pharmaceutical development. You will work closely with colleagues from process development in internal project teams to deliver high-quality solutions that align with Ardena's mission.

Your Responsibilities

  • Implement, develop, and validate chromatographic methods for analysis of starting materials, intermediates, and drug substances.
  • Apply these methods in development projects, e.g., to support process development, stability studies, and release analyses.
  • Write analytical methods, prepare protocols, and reports containing analytical results from method development, stability, and validation reports.
  • Collaborate with other colleagues from R&D, manufacturing, and quality assurance to advance projects through development.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest technical and CMC developments as well as insights into your area of expertise.

Your Profile

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in Analytical Chemistry.
  • At least 1-3 years of experience with LC and (HS)GC.
  • Experience in method development and/or method validation.
  • Good understanding of chemical structures and physical properties of materials that can be applied in the development of analytical methods.
  • Ability to translate characterization challenges into practical analytical solutions.
  • Flexible, problem-solving, and team-playing skills with an analytical mindset.
  • Good communication skills and fluency in English (written and spoken).
  • Comfortable in a dynamic and changing environment.
  • Likely to learn and develop yourself.
  • Pro-active and hands-on mentality.
  • Ideal experience with cGMP and knowledge of ICH guidelines.
