Job Description : The Role
This is an excellent opportunity for a talented Mechanical Engineer to join the Critical Systems team in our Madrid office and to play a role in ensuring the successful delivery of innovative mechanical design solutions for high-profile projects in the Datacentre and Critical Systems fields, both in the UK and internationally. The team is currently working on Data Centres in Spain.
As part of our established team of expert engineers, working closely with colleagues from various disciplines, you will prepare scheme and detailed designs from feasibility and concept stages through to detailed engineering design and site support.
You will have opportunities to assume greater responsibilities as your skills develop and will work closely with multidisciplinary teams to deliver technically excellent, profitable projects. Support towards chartership will also be provided.
The Skills
Educated to degree level in Mechanical Engineering or Building Services Engineering (MEng, BEng, or equivalent), with experience in a Mechanical Engineering role within a data centre / critical system and building services context.
You should have proven ability in delivering creative design solutions, preparing specifications and project reports, conducting site inspections and surveys, and possess a passion for innovative and intuitive design.
Excellent communication skills in English and the ability to use initiative to overcome challenges are essential, given the collaborative and client-focused nature of this role.
