**Production Planner Role at Trouw Nutrition**

The Production Planner is responsible for planning the production of a range of animal food products on one or more production lines, ensuring optimum utilization of production and timely delivery of products.

This role ranges from simple production planning of a single production line to planning multiple production lines together with external logistics. The Production Planner will work closely with various departments, including production management, maintenance, engineering, and product development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Checking orders for accuracy and verifying inventory levels of finished products.
  • Arranging production orders, considering specified delivery times, machine capacity, and changeover requirements.
  • Calculating required raw materials and semi-finished products.
  • Verifying stock positions and identifying shortfalls in procurement.
  • Compiling and releasing daily production orders and material issue vouchers.
  • Maintaining daily planning and production monitoring, consulting with production management about disruptions and possible corrective actions.
  • Adapting and implementing changes in planning, discussing consequences with superiors, production, and sales.
  • E nsuring the functional application of planning software.
  • Specifying functionality needs and requirements, collaborating with IT for implementation.
  • Tracking and processing changes in data, such as customer specifications, product specifications, manufacturing standards, machine capacities, and packing prescriptions.
