QA Automation Engineer with AWS WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING Our XVA Engineering team is looking for a QA Automation Engineer to help us setup our test automation framework and practices across all our squads (40+ people), located in Madrid and Warsaw. This role will be responsible for implementing new ways of working and integrating them into our development practices, with direct support from our Lead Engineering and Head of Development.We are currently embarked in an exciting project of migrating legacy systems to a public Cloud provider. Being a greenfield initiative, it provides a unique opportunity to propose and apply state-of-the-art test frameworks and tools. Your responsibilities include:Manage the continuous improvement of testing processes and procedures to enhance production efficiency and quality.Collaborating with the team to improve the company's quality assurance processes and practices.Designing, implementing and executing automated test scripts using testing software programs.Collaborating with the software development team to ensure the software meets quality standards.Identifying, analyzing and creating detailed records of problems that appear during testing, such as defects, bugs, errors, and inconsistencies.Reviewing system requirements and track quality assurance metrics.Participating in product design reviews.Stay updated with the latest testing tools, strategies, and quality standards. WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR Required qualificationsA bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or similar.Solid understanding of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.Experience with AWS.Agile: Scrum, Kanban; and tools: Jira, X-Ray, Confluence.Basic scripting/programming skills (Python, Bash, other).Basic SQL and Docker knowledge. Desirable knowledgeGitHub Actions.Experience in Banking and Global Markets.ISTQB Certified Tester or Certified Software Test Automation Specialist. Soft SkillsCommunication.Teamwork.Adaptability.High level of proactivity and anticipation.Business Oriented LanguagesEnglish - professional proficiency
