Senior Business Process Consultant - SAP Ariba

The role of Senior Business Process Consultant is integral to transforming businesses through the implementation and use of leading Cloud procurement solutions from SAP Ariba.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Assist customers throughout the lifecycle of an SAP Ariba implementation.
  • Support blueprinting, gathering customer requirements and expectations.
  • Design processes and procedures leveraging Ariba solution functionality.
  • Influence client opinions and decisions using proven best practices.
  • Develop positive relationships with customer teams.
  • Use knowledge of customers' businesses and industries to shape solutions.
  • Communicate effectively with various stakeholders, including project managers, technical teams, and executive-level decision-makers.
Project Stream Responsibility:
  • Depending on seniority, the Senior Consultant will lead multiple streams or projects, overseeing task planning, resource management, and deliverables to ensure timely completion and quality standards are met.
  • Manage internal and external resources to optimize client impact.
  • Serve as liaison between customer and Ariba internal teams.
  • Identify and address resource needs.
  • Escalate project issues, as necessary.
Competences:
  • Ariba Solution Expertise: Quickly learn new Ariba solutions to present them confidently to customers. Apply broad knowledge of Ariba solutions to solve customer problems.
  • Written and Verbal Communication: Express thoughts, expectations, and ideas effectively in verbal and written communications.
  • Teamwork: Collaborate proactively with teammates to anticipate and respond to issues impacting solution delivery.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in business or computer sciences or equivalent experience.
  • A minimum of six years of experience in Procurement consulting.
  • Knowledge of procurement operations and/or e-procurement tools.
  • Demonstrated ability to facilitate workshops with strong facilitation and presentation skills.
  • Ability to travel up to 50% in Europe.
Qualifications That Are a Plus:
  • Master's degree in business or computer sciences.
  • Work experience using project management methods (e.g., PMI).
  • Demonstrated ability to successfully work with multi-functional teams.
  • Experience with SAP Ariba solutions.
