Role & Purpose of the Position

As a Global Accounting and Reporting Analyst, you will contribute to timely compliance with regulations, train and support finance teams, and participate in global finance projects.

Responsibilities
  • Act as a sparring partner to global finance managers on accounting and reporting matters.
  • Train and support the global business services team and finance managers in accounting, IFRS, SAP, and quality standards.
  • Support the group accounting team by drafting and reviewing policies and resolving issues during monthly closing.
  • Assist in the month-end closing process and ensure timely, high-quality financial reporting for all entities.
  • Review financial information before submission for consolidation and during the process.
  • Coordinate the global financial audit process (group and statutory audits).
  • Oversee global banking processes, liaise with group treasury, and manage bank access rights.
  • Participate in global finance projects as a project manager, coordinator, or contributor.
  • Coordinate the preparation and submission of regulatory reports.
  • Act as liaison between global services and business/controlling teams regarding reporting and regulatory requirements.
  • Monitor and standardize internal controls within finance processes globally, aiming to improve accounting and reporting quality.
  • Support global accounting automation and improvement projects as an accounting expert.
Qualifications & Experience
  • Chartered accountant, CPA, or similar qualification.
  • At least 4 years of experience in an international audit firm, working with clients in technology, software services, or manufacturing sectors.
  • Experience with foreign jurisdictions.
  • Practical knowledge of IFRS and taxation.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
  • Experience with SAP and OneStream (preferred).
  • Strong communication skills to simplify complex issues.
  • Proactive attitude and adaptability to dynamic environments.
