Job Title: Mobile Network Engineer (GSM, UMTS, LTE)

In Enreach Labs, we are seeking a highly skilled Mobile Network Engineer to reinforce our team. As a member of the Operations team, you will be co-responsible for our mobile core infrastructure.

We operate as an MVNO in Germany and the Netherlands, but expanding to additional international markets. You will be based in Spain but working closely with the teams in Germany and the Netherlands.

This role offers end-to-end responsibilities, meaning you will deal with projects and design as well as support-related matters.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Monitoring, operating, and managing Wireless Core networks, and troubleshooting any issues that arise.
  • Demonstrating a solid understanding of 3GPP mobile network protocols and their interworking.
  • Tracing mobile core components using tools such as Wireshark, and analyzing network traffic to identify issues and potential areas for optimization.
Requirements:
  • Several years of experience (+4 years) working in mobile network environments.
  • Operational experience in monitoring, operating, and troubleshooting Wireless Core networks.
  • Setting up network nodes, and servers environments based on Unix.
  • Good communication skills.
  • An innovative mindset and hands-on mentality.
  • Proficiency in English, as you will work in an international team.
  • Willingsness to perform on-call duties (rotating with the rest of the colleagues) and night work (either maintenances or troubleshooting).
