Our client, a multinational company with EMEA Finance Headquarter allocated in Madrid, is looking for a new Treasury responsible.

The candidate selected will be a member of the EMEA Finance team reporting to the Accounting Manager. This role will be responsible for bank administration and relationship management, preparing and coordinating supplier payments, preparing bank account reconciliations, cash accounting entries, and taking care of all cash-related duties.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Bank administration: New bank account and user set up, bank account maintenance, remove/add user access.
  2. Bank relationship management: Interface with banking partners to resolve issues or implement new products.
  3. Bank account management and cash management optimization for the EMEA region.
  4. Support weekly cash positioning and forecasting.
  5. Prepare new letters of credit and maintain forecast and capacity report.
  6. Review new credit and depositary agreements and identify treasury-related obligations.
  7. Recommend process and controls improvements. Identify cost-saving opportunities related to Treasury.
Requirements
  1. Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or Economics.
  2. Experience working with SAP Treasury.
  3. Good level of English (International reporting)
  4. At least 5 years' experience in a multinational environment, task, and treasury statement.
  5. Treasury experience, cash management, and payment processing.
  6. Experience with loan drawing process a plus.
  7. U.S. GAAP and IFRS working knowledge required.
  8. Proficient with Microsoft Office suite of products and Banking portals.
