In this role, you are responsible for leading the BCD Travel team's effort to obtain profitable new (national) corporate travel accounts using effective sales and marketing techniques remotely and coordination of available resources. Main offers will relate to standard / light offerings.
As a Sales Coordinator, you will:- Create plans for the acquisition of existing clients and additional new business opportunities.
- Identify and maintain a prospect pipeline adequate to meet set goals.
- Develop and maintain good relationships with prospective and current client key contacts continually appraising travel industry trends and BCD Travel products and services.
- Negotiate all client contract terms consistent with company approval processes and commercial policy promptly.
- Use company-provided CRM to document and support all sales activities.
- Oversee the implementation of new business, working closely with implementation teams to ensure client expectations are achieved.
- Fluent in Business English, with excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Computer literate in business software applications.
- Ability and willingness to travel domestically.
- Relevant work experience in a sales position at a corporate level.
- Ability to establish and maintain rapport with all levels of management, modify communication style for customers, ability to persuade and overcome objections, and manage ongoing client relationships.
- Business travel industry experience is preferred.
